![]() ![]() The combat is very cool and different from other open world games. Real sense of speed and control for a true arcade experience. Best rain road reflections I’ve see in a game (strange thing to comment on but the neon city reflected in the tarmac looks beautiful). And basically COOL □ The graphics are great for a game 10 years plus. The story is straightforward but also very good. The voice acting and cut scene animations are great. ) Of course the game is old but it’s undeniable how much quality there is here. For me the narrative is so much better than GTA. Somehow they structured the main missions and side stuff in a way that keeps you engaged. Yes it’s GTA iv in china but that’s a great thing because the mood is very different. It is evident from the start how much love has gone into making this. From John Woo/Max Pain style shootouts to bruce Lee kick arsery, from “burn out” type racing to your run of the mill thuggery this is a lot of fun. What a great game! Environment: Amazing (9/10): When i first played the game, I was in awe from just look amazing it look. Music: Good (7/10): Soundtrack is good and the music is played at appropriate times Story: Fine (6/10) I haven't really paid attention to it, but it was pretty cool ig, espically the ending. Ain't the best, but for a game meant for the 360 and PS3, not bad, not bad at all. Graphics: Decent (7/10): Graphics are nice and unique. You can buy clothes with cool addons, find statues, fight and arrest criminals, and more! Also lets be honest, while it might be repetitive, who doesn't love kicking and punch enemies with different combos. Honestly just keep AA low and it'll run smoothly Length: Average (15-50 hours) Replayablity: Only for achivements: You can score more points by not commiting crimes during missions and getting more triad points from things like special moves Gameplay: Decent Gameplay with alotta stuff to do 8/10): Fighting and side missions can become repetitive after a while, but there is so much to do. Requirements: Not Demanding: Didn't test it out on a laptop but on my rx570 it usually ran at 90fps on 1440p High, with AA on low and Shadow Resolution on Medium. ![]() Other that than you can challenge yourself by not commiting certain crimes during missions in order to get a higher score. Still, as long as you stay a little patient and counter right, you will win almost every fight, most of the time without much of a scratch. Later, though, it became harder little by little. The only times I sturggled was in that Zodiac Tornament Thingy. Rating Difficulty: Easy: At the beginning, the combat felt too easy, which was a major turnoff. The graphics and music are decent, and the story is ok. Lots of fun stuff to do, such as jobs, offers, etc. Overall Rating: Good (7.75/10), worth full price, best to wait for sale: A good game packed with an amazing interactive enviorment and fighting that helps pass the time. He meets new friends while kicking ass and does several things during his time, such as police work, racing, and hacking. While I’m not usually one to buy re-releases in this fashion, Sleeping Dogs was a genuinely great game and I’d certainly consider playing through it again, assuming the upgrade in graphics and performance is decent.80% PCSummary and Overall Rating Summary: Set in Hong Kong, the protagonist, Wei Shen, works for the police in an undercover mission to infiltrate the Sun On Yee.
